jtv: Coach Wulff’s Weekly Press Conference

7 10 2010

Coming off a close loss at UCLA, Washington State head football coach Paul Wulff talked about how competitive the Pac-10 is this season at his weekly press conference on Tuesday.  With the Cougs slated to take on #3 Oregon, #9 Arizona and #16 Stanford over the next three weeks, WSU’s third-year head man argued the conference is the strongest in the nation.
Amongst the other stuff he said…

  • Oregon’s offense is dangerous
  • Ducks RB LaMichael James might be the fastest back in the country
  • S Anthony Carpenter and LB Sekope Kaufusi have switched positions
  • Freshman LB CJ Mizell will continue to see plenty of playing time
  • Sophomore QB Jeff Tuel and the offense are beginning to show plenty of promise
  • True-freshman WR Marquess Wilson is on pace to have one of the best seasons in school history, and is the deep threat the Cougs haven’t had in years
